Feb, 2008:"USTA Community Tennis Association of the Year Award"

McCall Community Tennis Association is a Community Tennis Association (CTA) member of the US Tennis Association and is the recipient of the annual award for USTA Community Tennis Association of the Year for the Intermountain Region.    MCTA earned this prestigious award for its  enrolling over 100 members in less than 1 year and raising $35,000 for resurfacing 2 of the public tennis courts at the High School, among other great achievements.   The award was formally presented to the association at the awards banquet in Las Vegas, March 3, 2008.

Feb 13, 2008:"USTA Executive Director Intermountain Idaho Comments and Grants"

Matthew Warren, Executive Director of USTA Intermountain Idaho and Tiffany Coll, USTA Community Relations Coordinator, attended the McCall Community Tennis Association's general meeting to present a $1,000 check from the Community Development Support Group for the tremendous effort that MCTA has done in promoting tennis in the McCall area.  Warren said that MCTA is recognized as a model club throughout the Intermountain States and announced that another $500 check would be  sent toward the expenditures of the MCTA Block Party in the spring.   This is all a tremendous recognition for all the hard work and achievements that should make our club proud.

Feb 13, 2008:"USTA Adopt-A-Court Grant"

Nancy Sommerwerck announced that MCTA is the recipient of USTA Intermountain region Adopt-a-Court  grant funds in the amount of $2,935 for windscreens, benches, squeegies, ball machine, etc.    

 

2008:"MCTA Hats, Visors, Wine Glasses Now Available"

Help spread the word about the MCTA and enjoy accessories with the McCall Community Tennis Association logo - hats, visors and wine glasses are now available for purchase.  Contact any board member for details.

June, 2007:"McCall CTA Raises $10K at Fundraiser"
